Why

Whoever holds the carrier accounts needs the consignments, the tracking and the spend in one place.

What

The Couriers view at /app/route?view=couriers lists your carrier accounts with this month's consignments, packages, spend and on time rate.

How

You add each account once, then record the consignment reference and cost when you dispatch a delivery by carrier.

Add a carrier account

   Step 1.

   Open /app/route?view=couriers and choose Add carrier (admin and above).

   Step 2.

   Pick the Carrier and fill Account and Services offered in your own words (next day, pallet, timed).

   Set the Default package kind.

   Paste the carrier's own Tracking address with {reference} where the consignment number goes, then Save.

   In the list, type a consignment number into the Tracking column and choose Test to check the link.

Dispatch by carrier

On a delivery with the means Carrier, choose Dispatch and record the carrier, the Consignment reference and What the carrier charged. The carrier's own label comes from the carrier's system.

What works with each carrier today

Without a connector, a consignment's state is whatever a person records on the delivery. The Spend by carrier card shows only what you entered, never an estimate, and On time counts only consignments with both a delivered time and a promised date.
