Operators
Certify people for machines and see who is on what.

Certify someone for a machine
- Step 1.
Open
/app/machinist/operatorsand choose Certify for a machine (engineers and above). - Step 2.
Pick the Operator and the Machine, set Certified and, if it lapses, Expires.
- Step 3.
Choose Save. Withdraw on a certification removes it.
A certification is a capability, not a permission: the member's role still decides what they can see. Give someone the operator role in Settings then Users.
What the columns say
| Column | Shows |
|---|---|
| Certified for | Each machine, marked Expired or Expires within thirty days where it applies |
| Rate an hour | The person's labour rate, or No rate; engineers and above only |
| On today | The job they have open now |
| Minutes this month | Their measured minutes since the first of the month |
An expired certification counts as none: the schedule refuses to move that person's job onto the machine.
