Credits are retired

You buy an amount of usage a month. No credit counts, no price per credit, no overage.

30 August 2026. Kabaido used to sell a complexity-weighted credit. A plan included a number of credits, the pricing page published a weight table and a price per extra credit, and to work out what a month would cost you had to learn a unit first. That is gone. A plan now includes an amount of AI usage a month, and nothing anywhere states a credit count or a price per credit again.

The plans

Free, Pro at £149 a month, Ultra at £449 with five times the Pro usage, Max at £1,249 with ten times, and Enterprise by agreement. Annual billing keeps its 5 per cent discount. If you were on Starter you are now on Pro, Growth is now Ultra and the old Scale is now Max: the same price, the same limits and more usage than before.

There is no overage

No plan meters a per-unit overage any more. When the month’s usage is spent, the AI pauses and everything else carries on: quoting, orders, the catalogue, the configurators, the wizards and the machine screens. The allowance resets on your billing date, and upgrading lifts the limit straight away. You cannot receive an invoice for usage you did not agree to.

What the pricing page shows instead

Roughly how many multi-line quotes, resolved request lines, AI design runs and drafted email replies a month each plan comfortably handles. They are worked examples computed from the real allowance, labelled as examples, because the honest way to size a plan is to start small and watch what your own enquiries use.

Commerce and Inspect

  • A Kabaido Commerce website no longer carries a separate monthly hosting line. It is a project we quote and build, typically £6,500 to £12,500 depending on complexity and billed as two invoices, and it then runs on your ordinary Kabaido plan.
  • The Inspect add-on is withdrawn. Inspect access comes with your plan, and the plan sets how many company profiles you can open a month.

The Billing page now shows one usage bar: how much of this month is spent, when it resets and roughly what the rest is worth in quotes. Extra machine screens are unchanged at £49 a month each.
