Plans and usage
Understand the plans, what draws on your monthly usage and how the allowance works.
Kabaido has five plans: Free, Pro, Ultra, Max and Enterprise. Each plan sets the users, catalogue size and module limits, and includes an amount of AI usage a month.
What usage is
Usage is the work the AI does for you: reading an enquiry, extracting the specification, matching it against your catalogue, configuring a custom product, drafting a reply from your inbox, a Machinist AI action, and a work action posted back through an AI connector. Heavier work draws more of it, so a scanned drawing read as an image draws more than the same content pasted as text.
Working in the platform by hand costs nothing. Browsing, building quotes manually, configuring designs yourself, running a wizard, running a machine screen and reading the run page are all free. Usage meters the AI only.
Monthly allowance
Your allowance is granted at the start of each billing period. It is non-rolling, so an unused month does not carry into the next one.

The pricing page shows roughly what each allowance is worth in quotes, request lines, AI design runs and drafted replies a month. Those are worked examples rather than caps on a particular feature: it is one pool of usage, spent on whatever you point it at.

Annual billing is available on every paid plan at 5 per cent off the annual total. CSV import and export and the quote acceptance portal are included on every plan, free included.
One-off work
The modules are included in every plan. What sits on top of a subscription is work we scope and build with you once, quoted per project:
- A Kabaido Commerce website: your fully managed site, store and trade portal, typically £6,500 to £12,500 depending on complexity and billed as two invoices. It then runs on your ordinary plan with no separate hosting line.
- A custom Design Engineer module: a new design category scoped and built for what you make, then usable like any launch category.
- A custom selector wizard: a guided selector built around your own selection logic and catalogue.
- Machinist custom builds: custom machine interfaces, licences and handovers.
The only other line is an extra machine screen at £49 a month each on any paid plan.
Prices exclude VAT. There is no per-unit overage on any plan: when the allowance is spent the AI pauses and the rest of the platform carries on until the reset, or until you upgrade. You will never receive an invoice for usage you did not agree to.
