Keep the margin in sight
A catalogue price is always a figure you set; nothing reprices the catalogue from a target margin. The margin is read from the price and the cost, so load cost first and every new product line shows it.
With Source on, activating a supplier price list tells the buyers how many products' best price moved beyond the alert threshold, and an organisation can choose to accept those prices as cost automatically.
A bulk price change applies to the catalogue from then on. Quotes already raised keep their prices and their costs.
