Terms of Service

Kabaido is a software service that structures commercial requests and helps you produce quotes, orders and service jobs. We provide the service on a subscription basis as described on our pricing page and in your chosen plan.

You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your organisation. You must give accurate registration details and keep them current. You must be authorised to bind your organisation to these terms.

Your use of the service is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy. You must not misuse the service, attempt to access it other than through the interfaces we provide, or use it to break the law.

You retain all rights in the data you submit. You grant us the limited rights needed to host and process it to provide the service. We do not use your commercial data to train AI models. Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy and, where you act as a controller, the Data Processing Addendum.

Kabaido extracts and structures information and cites its sources. It abstains rather than inventing a specification, tolerance, price or part number. Output is a working aid and you remain responsible for reviewing it before relying on it commercially.

Paid plans are billed in advance through our payment processor. Usage above your included credit allowance is metered and billed at your plan rate. Prices exclude VAT, which is added where applicable. You can change plans at any time, with charges prorated.

We work to keep the service available and to fix faults promptly, but the service is provided without an uptime guarantee unless your plan or a separate Enterprise agreement states one. We may carry out maintenance and will give reasonable notice of planned work that affects availability.

You can export your data at any time, including a full export on request, and there is no charge to take a copy. When you ask us to delete your data we remove it, and on cancellation we delete or return it at your choice. We keep only the records we are required to retain by law, such as invoices, and then delete them. This is described further in our Privacy Policy and on our security page.

You may cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for a material breach of these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy. On termination you can export your data and we delete or return it at your choice, as set out in Data export and deletion above.

The service is provided on an "as is" basis to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law. Subject to that, our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim.

We may update these terms. We will give reasonable notice of material changes. Your continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

These terms, together with the policies they refer to, are the entire agreement between us for the service. If any provision is unenforceable the rest continues to apply. You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them to a successor to our business. We give notices through the service or by email, and you can reach us at hello@kabaido.com.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
