Servicing
Follow every customer item from registration to return, and find the service models, rules and costing behind it.
Updated 23 September 2026
- Why
- A service workshop needs one place for every item, its station, its rules and its cost.
- What
- Servicing holds the day's work, every registered item, the service models, the rules and the costing.
- How
- Every view reads the same items and scans, so the registry, the rules and the costs agree.
Find it at /app/servicing: an area in the menu under Products. Brought by Service Centre.
Commerce adds to it when it is on as well.

An item's statuses
Registered, Intake, Inspection, Awaiting approval, In service, Completed, then Returned; Rejected where the work does not go ahead. See the registry and item lifecycle.
A bench signed in with its device key works at /app/servicing/station. Each service model opens at /app/servicing/services/<id>.
Switch Service Centre off and, while this area still holds records, it stays readable under a banner that says so. Nothing is deleted, and changes are refused until it is back on in Settings then Products.
