Products are the entitlement
Every workspace switches on the products it needs, and the platform arranges itself around them.
19 September 2026. The first release of the 1.0 programme changes what a workspace is. Until now a plan decided what you could open. From today a workspace holds the products its business needs, switched on in Settings under Products, and every plan carries every product: plans set usage and scale only.
What changed for your workspace
- Your products were set from what your workspace already does. A workspace with quotes has Sales Engineer on, one with registered service items has Service Centre on, one with a wizard has Wizard on, and so on. Nothing was switched on that you had not used, and nothing you had used was switched off.
- A workspace that has not used anything yet is asked what it needs the next time somebody signs in. New workspaces are asked during setup.
- The sidebar, the workbenches, the AI interface and the setup checklist all follow the products that are on. Switching a product off keeps every record readable with a banner and refuses new writes; nothing is hidden and nothing is deleted.
Meetings
A meeting booked with Kabaido is a Google Meet link on a Google Calendar invitation, sent by Google. The booking popout on the website and in the platform offers three start times a working day across three weeks, with England and Wales bank holidays left out, and the confirmation email carries a link to move or cancel the meeting without signing in.
Also today
- The website and the platform are English only for 1.0. The nine translated sites are archived and return one language at a time after 1.1, and customer documents keep the language your organisation has set.
- Every colour on the site and in the platform now resolves to one calibrated palette, checked on every build. Light, dark and system are the three themes.
- The favicon is the Kabaido mark, brand blue in a light browser and brand white in a dark one.
- The paid extra machine screen is gone. The number of stations a workspace can run is part of its plan.
- On the free plan Inspect is a preview: the map and the lists, with no company profiles opened.
- The version you are running is stated on the platform's Organisation settings page and on the Kabaido team's own overview.
