Read what a finished job cost and where the figure is incomplete.

How a job is costed

Standard and Actual set the planned minutes against the measured ones. Open a row to see the job's time and trail. Rates carry an effective date, so a rate rise does not rewrite last month.
Read it
- Step 1.
Open
/app/machinist/costs. It lists the done and scrapped jobs in a window that ends today. - Step 2.
Change From and To for another window.
- Step 3.
Switch between By job, By machine, By operator and By month.
When a figure is missing
- No rate: the machine or the person has no rate, so that part is left out and the total is what is known.
- No margin: a margin needs the order line a job was raised from, and the jobs the machine modules and the AI interface raise carry none.
- An Arcline job shows no material: the ledger records a cut against the sheet, not the job.
Costs and margins are for engineers and above. A missing figure is shown as missing, never as a zero.
