What a customer can and cannot do

Why

You open your system to people outside your company, so the edges must be plain.

What

A customer user is a separate kind of account, never a member of your workspace.

How

Every read is limited to rows that belong to their own customer record.

A customer can

• Accept or decline a sent quote, with a purchase order reference or a reason.
• Follow orders, deliveries and serviced items, and answer an inspection waiting on them.
• Request a collection of a serviced item.
• Run the wizards you open to them and choose Ask for a quote on a result or a saved design.
• Download the documents addressed to them.
• Ask the customer AI, when you switch it on.
• Leave your workspace from Account, and see the other suppliers that gave them a sign in.

A customer cannot

• See another customer's records, your catalogue, your costs or your margins.
• Open your workspace at /app: a customer account is never a member.
• Create a workspace from your address.
• Reach an area you have switched off, or one whose product is off.

Reading costs nothing. A request and a wizard run each draw a little of your usage, and never refuse the customer; the customer AI draws on it per answer.
