Booking a meeting
Book a call with the Kabaido team from the platform or the website, and move or cancel it later without an email exchange.
Book a meeting cards appear in the Commerce area, in Support and on the website contact page. Each shows real availability rather than a form that starts a conversation about availability: pick a slot and the meeting is booked, with a calendar invitation and a confirmation email to you.
What counts as free
The slots you are offered are computed from a real calendar every time the card opens, not from a fixed rota.
- 30 minute slots, on the hour and the half hour.
- Between 08:00 and 21:00 UK time, seven days a week. Weekends are offered because the calendar, not a rule, decides what is actually free.
- Over the next fortnight, with at least 20 hours notice: nothing can be booked for this afternoon.
- A calendar event blocks its slot only when it has at least one attendee besides the owner. Focus blocks, reminders and holds do not stop you booking; real meetings do. Cancelled events and events marked free never block.
- Bookings already made through Kabaido block their slot too, so two visitors picking the same time a second apart cannot both get it.
Times are computed in Europe/London and stay correct across the clock changes, so a slot offered in October is the slot you get in November.
The invitation carries a Kabaido Meet link, kabaido.ai/meet with a meeting code, which opens in the browser with no account and no download. See Kabaido Meet for what to expect in the call. If a Kabaido Meet room cannot be created the booking still completes and falls back to a Google Meet link, so a booking never fails for want of a room.
Changing or cancelling
The confirmation email carries a link of your own, tied to that one meeting, which needs no account and no password. Open it to see when the meeting is, move it to another free slot or cancel it. Moving a meeting reissues the calendar entry rather than sending a second one, so your calendar shows one meeting at the new time instead of two at different times.
When the calendar is not connected
If no slots load, the card says so plainly and points you to the message form and hello@kabaido.com instead. It never shows an empty picker or invented availability. Booking draws no usage.
