German finishing and the right tool
1.36.22A German enquiry that names a finishing pass gets tools chosen for it, and a card full of stock that suits the job badly now shows the one that suits it.

Schlichten von Rippen, Wände schlichten and the other German words for a finishing pass on walls, ribs and webs are read as a profile job, so the flutes, helix and coating are chosen for it instead of the general row.
When every stock tool on a review card goes against the application, the tool in your range that suits the job better is offered beside them, with the length it differs on shown on its chip. It is never selected for you.
A step drill drawn in a DXF no longer asks which of its own diameters is the cutting one: the drawing answers it.
