Products, areas and parts

Tell a product from an area and a part, know what you install inside a product and where each one shows up.

Why
One vocabulary makes every screen, every doc and every conversation with us mean the same thing.
What
Products are what you switch on, areas are where you work and parts repeat across areas; and some products take a design module, wizard module, machine module or service model you install.
How
Switch products on in Settings then Products; the areas, views and parts follow on their own.

Products

What a workspace switches on by need, never by plan, in Settings then Products.

CommerceMarketingCommerce puts your catalogue online as a B2B trade site and connects it to the platform, and gives your customers their own sign in.

Areas

The places you work. An area is there when any product that brings it is on, and its views are whatever your products add.

What you install inside a product

Design modules in Design Engineer, wizard modules in Wizard, machine modules in Machinist and service models in Service Centre. Presets install them. Each design, wizard and machine module opens as its own workbench; service models sit in the Services view of Servicing.
