One place to ask, and it knows your workspace
The AI area is now the only place to ask anything. What it offers follows the products your workspace has switched on. It knows how your workspace is set up and what you have corrected before, and knowing it draws nothing extra from your usage.
22 September 2026.
One place to ask
- The help chat, the design assistant, the Inspect agenda, price list and debrief boxes, the offering drafter and the schema reader have all moved into the AI area. Where one of them used to sit, a quiet link now opens the AI area with the question already written and waiting for you to send.
- What this can do here, beside the box, lists what your workspace can ask for: service history and what is due, jobs and the schedule, deliveries and today's runs, stock on hand and adjustments, supplier requests and purchase orders, enquiry replies and your website's week. Switch a product off in Settings then Products and its part of the list goes on the next load; ask for something your workspace does not have and it says which product would do it.
- A write is never done for you. When an answer can raise a job, record a stock adjustment, draft a supplier request or send an enquiry reply, it sets out every field first and does it only when you press confirm.
It knows your workspace, and your customer
- Every answer is written knowing what your workspace does: your trade and your products, your service models and design modules, the fields you keep on a customer. A coater is answered as a coater.
- Pin a customer on the chip beside the box and the answer knows them too: how often they order, what they usually buy and in what quantities, what is open and what is overdue. When a request names a customer you have, the chip offers them; nothing about a customer is used until you pin them, and nothing about any other customer ever is.
- When you correct it three times the same way, it remembers: a product you keep choosing for the same wording is chosen for you, with a note saying why, and an answer you keep giving becomes an assumption it states and you can change. Settings then Organisation lists what it has learned, and Forget removes any of it.
- None of this draws on your usage. The context it carries is paid for by sending less of what it did not need.
Your threads
- Threads now sit on the left of the AI area: pinned first, then today, yesterday, the last week and the last month, thirty at a time as you scroll. Search finds a thread by its title or by what was asked in it, archived ones included, and each can be renamed, pinned, archived or restored.
Your customers' assistant
- The assistant on your customer sign in now runs on the same foundations. It is off until you switch it on and reads only the signed in customer's own quotes, orders, items, deliveries and documents. An attempt to steer it, in any of ten languages, is refused before it reads anything.
Smaller
- Asking about a serviced item's history, or what is due, answered not found even when the item existed. Both answer now.
- A services workspace with many parameters per service had some of them left out of what the AI was told, so a request asking for masked threads or a PPAP pack could not be priced with them. Every parameter is now included.
- Someone with the operator role sees answers without prices, as they do everywhere else.
- The usage card beside the box closed again a moment after it opened, whether you hovered or tabbed to it. It stays open now.
- On your customer sign in in dark mode, a customer's own message was pale text on a pale bubble. It reads clearly in both themes.
