Route takes the confirmed order and gets it to the customer's door.
It can plan the consignment, label the packages or load the van, hold the window you promised, track the courier, sequence a day of stops and capture the signature at the door from the driver's own screen. Field sales visits plan onto the same runs.
Give your customers a delivery date they can plan production around, and proof of what arrived and when.
It records every move as a scan event and books the real cost of the delivery against the job.
Run it with couriers, with your own vehicles, or both. With Kabaido Stock on, a van is a location and a load is a transfer.

In more detail
A consignment record for each delivery of an order, carrying the address, the promised window, the carrier or the internal run, the packages, the tracking reference and the proof of delivery. Runs carry a day of stops for one vehicle, loading says what goes on it, and the driver works from a station screen on a phone. Picking, packing, dispatch, delivery, failure and return each write a trace event in the same step as the state they set. What the carrier charged and each delivery's share of a run's cost are written against the delivery.

It adds to Stock when the product that brings that area is on too.
Works with Stock and Commerce. Nothing is a prerequisite: each pair only adds to the other.
Switching it on and off
Switch it on in Settings then Products, on any plan. It brings the Route workbench with deliveries, runs, vehicles and couriers, the Deliveries lens on Orders, and proof of delivery from the driver's own screen.
Switched off: Deliveries and runs stay readable. Nothing new can be planned or dispatched until it is switched on again.

Runs, Loading and Vehicles appear only when own transport is on for the workspace. It is off in a new workspace and there is no switch for it in Settings yet: ask through Getting help.
