Commerce puts your catalogue online as a B2B trade site and connects it to the platform, and gives your customers their own sign in.
It can sell your catalogue records, turn registered accounts into your customers and drop their orders straight into the platform with your numbering, your pricing and your VAT, so there is no second system to keep in step.
Give your customers a place to buy, reorder and check their own account at any hour, built to be found by people and by the AI search that increasingly answers technical questions for buyers.
A build is quoted per project, publicly stated at £6,500 to £12,500, and the site then runs on your ordinary Kabaido subscription.

In more detail
Commerce gives your customers their own branded sign in, where each one sees only their own quotes, orders, items, deliveries, designs, wizards and documents, with a customer AI you can switch on. The same surface can run on your own domain. With a website build, the site sells your own catalogue records, registered accounts become customers matched by contact email, and website orders become platform orders with platform numbering, your VAT rate and the ordinary order workflow. The area opens on Customers online; its Website view is the workbench for a built site: Overview, Content, Enquiries, Blog and Checklists.
Where it lives
| Area | Where | Kind |
|---|---|---|
| Quotes | /app/quotes | an area in the menu |
| Orders | /app/orders | an area in the menu |
| Catalogue | /app/catalog | an area in the menu |
| Commerce | /app/commerce | a full screen workbench |
It adds to Customers, Servicing, Design, Wizard and Route when the product that brings those areas is on too.
Works with Design Engineer, Route, Service Centre and Wizard. Nothing is a prerequisite: each pair only adds to the other.
Switching it on and off
Switch it on in Settings then Products, on any plan. It brings the Commerce workbench, the customer facing surface where your customers sign in to their own quotes, orders and items, and orders from your site landing under Orders.
Switched off: Orders and enquiries from your site stay readable. Your customers cannot sign in and the site stops feeding the platform until it is switched on again.

Three tiers
| Tier | Where your customers sign in | What it takes |
|---|---|---|
| 1. The customer surface | <prefix>.kabaido.ai, or kabaido.ai/c/<prefix> on the Free plan | Commerce on, Customer sign in switched on and a prefix chosen: see activating your address |
| 2. Your own domain | A subdomain of yours, such as portal.yourdomain.com | One CNAME record, on Pro, Ultra and Max |
| 3. The website build | A trade website on your domain, feeding the platform | A build quoted per project, £6,500 to £12,500 |
Without Commerce, the quote link at /q/[token], the document link at /doc/[token] and the wizard embed still work. Commerce adds the signed in surface around them.
