The first run and the tours

Why

A new workspace should explain itself on the real screens, not in a slideshow.

How

Follow the cards with the buttons or the arrow keys; replay them from Restart tour whenever you like.

The first run

1. A welcome card, with a line for the trade you picked first.
2. The AI interface at /app: the box, the mode chips, what the AI works across in your workspace, the usage bar, the quick actions and the threads.
3. The menu: the rail, one stop per group you actually see, your stations if you hold any, search, and Start with the area your trade leads on.

The tour is built from your own menu, so it never points at an area your products or your access do not include. On a narrower screen, where the rail sits behind the menu button, it points at the button instead.

A guide in every area

The first time you open an area, a short guide walks its screen once. Skip this guide closes it for good. Skip two in a row and Kabaido asks Turn these guides off?, with Keep them and Turn them off.

A guide never starts while a dialog is open or you are typing in a field.

Moving through a tour

• Next and Back, or the arrow keys.
• Esc leaves the tour where it stands.
• Skip the tour ends it, and it does not reopen by itself.

Replaying it

   Step 1.

   Press Ctrl and K (Cmd and K on a Mac) and choose Restart tour, or open /app/settings/profile and press Restart tour under Product tour.

2. 2
   Step 2.

   From the palette the tour starts again at once; from the profile page it starts the next time you open /app. Either way the guides you skipped come back.
