Why

Work moves fastest when a scan records it where it happens, without a desk in between.

What

One full screen at /app/scan: scan or type a code, see what it is and record the next event.

How

A member of operator rank or above opens it from the platform; a device signs in at /station with its own key.

Scan a code

   Step 1.

   At /app/scan, scan or type the code and choose Resolve, or Use the camera.

   Step 2.

   The screen shows what the code is and its Last event. Pick the next event and choose Record.

   Step 3.

   A code it does not know offers Register this code or Add as an alias of the next code.

Without signal, trace scans queue on the device and send when it returns. With Stock on, the screen adds a Stock panel (scanning stock); with Source on, Receive for goods in. Stock moves and receipts need a connection.

Sign a device in

   Step 1.

   An admin opens Settings then Organisation, Stations, and chooses Add station. The key is shown once: copy it.

   Step 2.

   On the device, open /station, enter the Device key and choose Sign in.

A station signs in, not a person, and reaches one screen by its kind: /app/scan, /app/servicing/station, /app/machinist/station or /app/route/drive. Rotate key signs the old screen out; Deactivate stops the station and keeps its trail.
