Enquiries
Answer and close the enquiries your website receives.
Updated 23 September 2026
- Why
- An enquiry left in a web form inbox is a sale waiting on nobody.
- What
- A queue of every enquiry sent on your site, with reply and close built in.
- How
- Open Enquiries in the workbench at
/app/commerce/enquiries.
Each enquiry is New, Replied or Closed, and you are notified when one arrives. The header says how many are awaiting a reply.
- Step 1.
Open the enquiry and write your answer in the reply box.
- Step 2.
Choose Send reply. It is emailed with their message quoted underneath, and stored on the enquiry.
- Step 3.
Or choose Close without replying when nothing is owed.
Replying needs the Sales role or above. To quote, open a quote for the customer in Quotes as for any other enquiry.
