Kabaido Meet
Join a Kabaido meeting in the browser with a code, no account and no download.
Kabaido Meet is Kabaido's own live meeting room. Every meeting booked through Kabaido carries a kabaido.ai/meet link with a meeting code, and anyone with the link joins in the browser. There is no AI anywhere in a Kabaido Meet call.
Joining
- Open the link in the invitation, or go to /meet and type the code you were sent.
- Enter the name you want to appear under in the call. It is remembered on that browser for next time.
- Check the camera preview, choose your microphone and camera, then join.
No account, no sign-in and no download: a current browser is the only requirement, and camera and microphone permission if you want to be seen and heard. You can join with either turned off, and if the browser has blocked them the prejoin screen explains how to allow them and lets you join without them.
Before you join
- Background blur, where the browser supports it. The prejoin screen says so plainly when it does not.
- Noise cancellation, on by default, which filters background noise once you join.
- Microphone and camera pickers, so a headset or a second camera is chosen before anyone sees you.
When the room opens
- A scheduled meeting opens 15 minutes before its start time. Earlier than that, the page tells you when it opens.
- A scheduled meeting that never went live reads as passed 24 hours after its start time.
- A cancelled meeting never reopens, and an ended meeting stays ended.
- A locked room admits the host only. Rejoining a meeting that is still running is always allowed.
In the call
The control bar carries microphone, camera, screen share, raise hand, chat, the participants list, device switching and leave. Every control is keyboard operable. Chat is ephemeral and lives only for the duration of the call. Screen sharing is open to everyone unless the meeting was created with it restricted, in which case the restriction is applied when your join token is issued rather than hidden in the interface.
Host controls
The host can lock and unlock the room, mute a participant, remove a participant and end the meeting for everyone. Host actions are checked on the server on every call, so holding the host view in a browser is not enough to perform one.
Recording and privacy
Kabaido Meet is not recorded: media is not recorded and in-call chat is not stored. Who joined and when is kept against the meeting so the team can follow up.
Recording, dial-in numbers, live captions, waiting-room admission and breakout rooms are deliberately out of scope in this version rather than missing by accident. Kabaido Meet consumes no credits.
