Booking a meeting

Why

Arranging a call by email takes days; picking a free time takes a minute.

What

A picker over the Kabaido team's real calendar that books a Google Meet and sends Google's own invitation.

Press Book a walkthrough or Book a meeting, pick a day and a time, and press Book the meeting.

The buttons sit on the website header, /contact and /pricing, and in the platform on the Commerce website screens, /app/machinist, /app/wizard, Support, the Enterprise card in /app/settings/billing and the custom build cards in /app/settings/presets.

What you are offered

• 30 minute meetings between 09:00 and 16:00 UK time, Monday to Friday. Weekends and England and Wales bank holidays are never offered.
• At least three business days ahead, across a three week window.
• At most three start times a day. They vary from day to day and stay the same each time you look at one day.
• A calendar event blocks its time when it has another attendee who has not declined, is all day or is marked out of office. Cancelled events, timed events marked free and working location entries never block.
• Every blocking event carries fifteen minutes either side, so nothing is offered back to back.
• Meetings already booked through Kabaido block their time too, so two people cannot take the same slot.

Times are computed in Europe/London and stay right across the clock changes. The picker shows each time in your own time zone, with the London time beside it when they differ.

The meeting

Google creates the Google Meet link with the calendar event and sends the invitation, so the entry in your calendar is Google's own. A confirmation email follows with the link and a manage link of your own.

Moving or cancelling

The manage link opens the meeting with no account or password. Move it to another free time and the calendar entry updates in place, keeping the same Google Meet link; cancel it and the entry is removed.

When no times load

The picker says so and offers a message to the team instead. It never shows invented availability. Booking draws no usage.
