The Machinist Costs view by job: 6 finished jobs from the demonstration workspace, each with its standard minutes, the minutes its scans measured and the machine cost at its station's rate. Labour shows as missing because no labour rate was set.
In practice
Work is timed where it happens and costed at your rates; a missing rate shows as a gap.
Priced from the model
A design is priced line by line from your own rates and stock, flagged while example rates remain.
A balustrade priced by the design engine at its defaults: 6 priced lines, each with its working, £519.54 before VAT on the preset's example rates.
Service steps against a standard
A service model installs standard minutes per step, the figure its measured minutes are costed against at your rates.

Questions
- A margin is only real when the cost behind it is measured, not assumed.
- On a service step or a machine job the gap is stated, never costed at zero. Set the rate and the cost appears.
- Engineers and above. On the Machinist costs screen anyone else sees a sentence saying so, never blank figures.
