Open- Who it is for
- Small and medium sized manufacturing and engineering businesses with manufacturing premises in England
- What it pays
- Up to 50% of a digital technology project, to a maximum of £20,000, plus fully funded advice and workshops
- When
- Open in all nine English regions; each region sets its own timings
Help to Grow: Management
Open- Who it is for
- UK small and medium sized businesses with 5 to 249 employees, operating for over a year
- What it pays
- 90% of a 12 week leadership course; the business pays £750 a person
- When
- Open, with courses starting through the year
South Yorkshire Business Productivity Grant
Closed- Who it is for
- Established businesses in Barnsley, Doncaster, Rotherham and Sheffield with up to 249 employees
- What it pays
- £2,500 to £12,499, up to 50% of a project, including new software and integration costs
- When
- Closed: the 2026 to 2027 funding is fully allocated

How a Kabaido project is set out
A Kabaido project can be set out as a prepaid 12 month plan with defined implementation deliverables: your catalogue and prices imported, your systems connected, one design, wizard or machine module built around what you make and your team trained.
Where Kabaido stands. Made Smarter has not yet confirmed how Kabaido projects are treated. We will update this page when it does. Until then, ask us and we will help you check with your regional team. Funding is always subject to the programme's own assessment.
