Customers and special pricing

Keep customer records with contacts and terms, and set special prices and quantity breaks per customer.

Open Customers for the table of companies with their contact count, open quotes and last activity. The detail view holds everything Kabaido knows about one customer.

The customer record

  • Contacts, where the primary contact drives the default quote recipient.
  • Addresses, terms, VAT, currency and notes.
  • External references shown as read-only chips.
  • Tabs for Activity, Special pricing and Service items.

Special pricing

The Special pricing tab manages special prices for the customer. You pick a scope and the tab shows a live example calculation so you can see the effect before you save. A special price can replace the unit price with a fixed amount or apply a percentage discount.

Special prices can be scoped to a single product, a category or a schema. The most specific scope wins when more than one matches.

Quantity breaks

Quantity breaks are pricing rules that reward larger orders. They reduce the unit price once the quantity reaches a threshold, by a percentage or a fixed amount. They are set up under Settings, then Pricing, and apply across customers.

Importing customers

You can import customers from a CSV with company, contact, email, phone and terms. Kabaido prompts on likely duplicates by email domain and company name, and never creates a customer without your confirmation.
