Cutting tools, abrasives and saw blades

Cutting tools, abrasives and saw blades covers the consumable tooling that machining runs on: cutting tools and indexable inserts, bonded abrasives and grinding wheels and industrial saw blades.

More coming soonCutting tools, indexable inserts, grinding wheels and saw blades.

Special tooling is quoted constantly and follows parametric geometry: a form cutter to a profile, a dished wheel to shape, grit and bond, a blade to diameter, bore and tooth count. Each one is dimensioned, checked and priced by hand today, usually for a buyer who orders the same style of special again and again.

That parameter shape suits the configurator runtime well. Sellers in this category are served through the bespoke build service: your tooling range, your limits and your pricing on the same runtime as the live configurators.

How it divides

The buyer configures. You stay in control.

A configurator moves the typing to the buyer and keeps every rule, rate and limit in the seller's hands.

What the buyer sets

  • Diameter, bore and mounting
  • Profile, grit or tooth geometry
  • Material, bond or coating
  • Quantity

What stays in your hands

  • Geometry limits per product line
  • Materials and coatings offered
  • Rates and pricing formulas
  • Which specials need an engineer's eye

What it covers

Example configurable products

  • Form cutters and special profile tooling
  • Grinding wheels to shape, grit and bond
  • Circular saw blades to diameter, bore and tooth count
  • Machine knives to drawing

Inside a configurator

From parameters to a dispatched order

One runtime carries every category: typed inputs, a cited AI, live 3D, a priced breakdown, manufacturing files and dispatch into your systems.

  1. Parameters

Typed inputs with live rule checks

  2. AI

    Cites its source or abstains

  3. 3D model

    Rebuilds as values change

  4. Price

    Line-by-line breakdown

  5. Export

    Manufacturing files and PDF

  6. Dispatch

    Into your ERP or CRM

Bespoke builds

Your product line on the same runtime

The four launch configurators and every bespoke build share one engine, so a new product inherits everything the live ones already prove.

Tell us the product line
What you make, the parameters that vary, the rules you check and how you price it. If it is dimensioned and quoted repeatedly, it fits.
We build it on the live runtime
Your configurator inherits live 3D, engineering rules, pricing formulas, cited AI answers, manufacturing exports and ERP or CRM dispatch from day one.
Your customers configure and order
On your own branded portal, against your stock and your rates, with every order landing in your systems.

Questions

About this category

Is there a round cutting tool configurator?
A round tool builder for endmills and drills is in development separately and is not part of this launch. Special tooling in this category is served through the bespoke build service.
Could a saw blade configurator work?
Yes: diameter, bore, tooth count and pitch are exactly the kind of parameter set the runtime handles. Talk to us if you make blades and want one.
