Configure 3D
Custom products, configured and priced in the browser
Turn a made-to-order enquiry into a priced, exportable item: parameters, a live 3D model, real engineering rules, a cited AI and manufacturing files, dispatched into your systems.
How it works
Six things happen between an enquiry and an order
One runtime carries the part from the buyer's parameters to a file in the seller's ERP, with nothing guessed along the way.
Parameters
The buyer sets dimensions, materials and options against the seller's own limits.
Live 3D
The part meshes in a browser worker as the values change, with a 2D profile where it matters.
Rules and price
Engineering rules validate the configuration and a formula prices it, itemised.
Cited AI
A grounded assistant sets values from loaded sources, or abstains rather than guessing.
Exports
Cut-ready DXF, STL, GLB and a PDF spec and quote, verified before they ship.
Dispatch
The configured item lands in the seller's ERP or CRM through signed, documented integrations.
The whole product
Parameters, the part, the answer and the price on one screen
The configurator is one composed surface: set the parameters on the left, watch the part and the price, read the cited answer on the right.

Live today
Four configurators you can try now
Soft jaws, gaskets, cut-to-size plastics and balustrades, each running on example data in the browser.
Soft Jaws Configurator
Configure the exact jaws for a chuck and workpiece, see a live price and export the files without an email thread.
Try it liveGasket Configurator
Pick a flange standard or set the size, choose a material and get a price and a cut-ready DXF instantly.
Try it liveCut-to-Size Plastics Configurator
Sheet, rod or tube cut to exact size in the right grade, priced as you type.
Try it liveBalustrade and Handrail Configurator
Configure a balustrade to your dimensions with live dimensional rule checks and get a price today, not a site visit next week.
Try it liveCite or abstain
A grounded answer, or an honest no
The assistant reads only what the seller has loaded. It cites what it uses and abstains where nothing covers the question.
Shortlists only grades whose loaded datasheets carry a food-contact statement, then sets the dimensions.

That chuck is not in the loaded compatibility table, so I cannot set the mounting or envelope. Ask the seller to add it.
Every answer cites a loaded source or abstains. Enforced in code, not in a prompt.

About Configure 3D
- What is Configure 3D?
- Configure 3D is Kabaido's configurable-product runtime. It takes a made-to-order enquiry, configures it against the seller's parameters, rules and stock, models it in live 3D, prices it and exports manufacturing files, all in the browser. Four configurators are live today.
- Who configures the price and the rules?
- The seller. Every configurator ships with clearly labelled example data; a seller loads their own stock, rates, formulas and engineering limits before going live, so their customers see real prices and real constraints.
- Does it invent specifications?
- No. The AI answers only from datasheets and tables the seller has loaded, and cites them. Where no loaded source covers the question it abstains and says so. It never invents a specification, tolerance, price or part number.
- Can you build a configurator for our product?
- Yes. Bespoke builds run on the same runtime as the four live products, so they inherit pricing, engineering rules, exports, AI grounding and ERP or CRM dispatch. If it is dimensioned and quoted repeatedly, it fits.
Configure 3D is one half of Kabaido. The other, the Sales Engineer, reads the requests that arrive as email and turns them into quotes and orders against your catalogue. Together they cover the configured product and the quoted request, on one account and one credit balance.
