Gasket Configurator
Pick a flange standard or set the size, choose a material and get a price and a cut-ready DXF instantly.
The problem
Why this is a configurator
A gasket order is a flange size or a sketch, a material and a thickness, usually urgent and rarely worth more than the time it takes to quote it. Estimators measure drawings for £30 orders while the buyer waits for a price they could have had in seconds.
Sellers
Gasket cutters and manufacturers.
Buyers
OEMs, process plants and maintenance teams who currently email a sketch and wait.

A scripted sweep of the real configurator. Every value is computed by the same engine your customers use.
Parameter tour
What the buyer sets
Every parameter validates against the seller's own rules and stock, so an impossible order cannot leave the browser.
- 1
Shape
Full-face flange, ring (IBC) or rectangular with corner radius.
- 2
Flange standard
Pick a DN and PN designation and the dimensions autofill from the loaded flange table.
- 3
Dimensions
Outside, inside and bolt circle diameters with hole count and size, or exact rectangle dimensions.
- 4
Material and thickness
From seller stock: CNAF, EPDM, nitrile, PTFE, graphite laminate and more, thickness from stocked sheets.
- 5
Quantity
Quantity breaks apply per the seller's pricing formula.
Exports
Manufacturing files, not just a picture
Proven formats are listed with what has been verified. Formats still in verification say so, honestly.
- DXFCut-ready flat profile, verified to 0.01mm in two independent parsers
- STLVerified download, configuration id in the file header
- GLBVerified download with configuration metadata
- PDFSpecification and quote sheet with the 2D profile
STEP export is generated and structurally valid but stays in verification until it is confirmed dimension-perfect in independent CAD software.
Cite or abstain
The AI grounds every answer, or says it cannot
It reads only what the seller has loaded. Where a source covers the question it answers and cites; where none does, it abstains rather than guessing.
“Gasket for a DN100 PN16 flange, steam at 180 degrees”
Resolves the full-face dimensions from the flange table and shortlists materials whose loaded datasheets cover steam at that temperature.
Cited: Flange table DN100 PN16 row and material datasheet fields (example data)
“Will this material handle hot concentrated acid?”
No loaded datasheet covers that medium, so I cannot recommend a material. Ask the seller for a suitability confirmation.
Questions
About the Gasket Configurator
- Is the DXF really cut-ready?
- Yes. A browser-exported gasket DXF was verified in two independent CAD parsers with every dimension within 0.01mm, correct layers and millimetre units declared. The profile is the authoritative manufacturing output.
- Which flange standards are included?
- The preset ships with example dimensions referenced to commonly published BS EN 1092-1 PN16 full-face sizes. Sellers load their own flange tables, which the AI then cites.
- Can it pick a gasket material for my application?
- Only from datasheets the seller has loaded. Where no loaded source covers the medium, temperature or pressure, it abstains rather than guessing.
- What about non-standard shapes?
- Rectangles with corner radii are in the preset. Anything beyond that (segmented, multi-aperture, printed layouts) is a bespoke build on the same runtime.
