Turn credits into a monthly figure

A credit is one resolved request line. Tell us roughly how many lines your desk quotes in a month and you can read off the credits, the plan that covers them and what any line beyond the allowance costs. Browsing and manual quoting are never metered.

What a credit is

One credit is one ordinary resolved request line. Heavier lines weigh more because they ask more of the AI. The weights below are the published figures, not an estimate.

Ordinary line
1 creditA catalogue product resolved from the request, or a structured-only line where the attributes are extracted but no catalogue product matches.
Service line
2 creditsA regrind, recoat, calibration or other service job priced from your service rules.
Configured line
2 creditsA made-to-order line priced through one of your configurators.
Configured line with geometry
3 creditsA configured line whose run consumed an uploaded STL, STEP or DXF file.

Two additions sit on top. Each page of a scanned drawing beyond the first adds 1 credit, so a three-page drawing adds 2 on top of the line itself. A work action posted back through an AI connector meters at 2 credits, twice the base weight, because the assistant runs the inference on your own AI account. Reads through that connector are free.

A month, line by line

Take one desk quoting a steady month. The line counts below are an assumption you should replace with your own; the credit total is the line count multiplied by its weight, nothing more.

A stated monthly mix of 248 resolved lines and the credits each type meters.

Total a month248324

That mix meters 324 credits a month. Growth includes 1,000 credits, so it covers the month with room to spare. Below that allowance you pay the plan price and nothing more. Change any line count and the total moves with it.

Which plan covers it

Each plan against the same 324 credit month. The last row is what a single line beyond the included allowance costs at that tier.

Sample organisation: Hartwell Precision Tooling. All values are demonstration data. The 248 line counts are an illustrative assumption. Every credit total and price here is computed from the published weights and the live plan figures. Free has no overage: when its 25 credits are spent the AI pauses politely and manual work carries on. Prices exclude VAT and allowances reset monthly. See the full plan comparison for what each tier includes beyond credits.
