This is the real configurator engine, not a video. Pick a flange size, a material and a thickness and the cut profile and the quote move together, the same maths the platform runs when your customer configures a product on your own site.
Every price carries its own working, so nothing is invented. Change the quantity and the volume breaks apply, exactly as they would on a live quote.
The paperwork
Every configuration produces its own paperwork
A configured product is more than a shape on a screen. Each run produces a specification and quote sheet with a dimensioned drawing, the detail the works needs to make it and the files your customer or your factory takes forward: PDF, STL, GLB and a cut-ready DXF where the product calls for one.
The claims are graded. The gasket DXF is verified to 0.01mm in two independent CAD parsers; STEP export stays in verification until it is confirmed dimension-perfect in independent CAD software.

Design mode reads the request as your customer wrote it, sets the parameters like a design engineer would, shows the configured result and iterates until the part is right.
Each AI-configured result consumes credits per the standard weights. Manual configuration and its exports are never metered, so your team can refine an AI-configured part by hand at no cost.

Any plan can request a new design category. Tell us the product line, the parameters that vary, the rules you check and how you price it. We scope it with you and build it for a one-time setup fee, POA. From then on it works like any launch category: live 3D, engineering rules, your pricing, exports and Design mode.

About the Design Engineer
- What does the Design Engineer cost to use?
- Manual configuration and its exports consume no credits: manual actions are never metered. AI-driven design consumes credits per the standard weights, from the same balance the rest of the platform uses. Saved designs and monthly exports are capped per plan and the caps enforce softly.
- How does Design mode work?
- You paste or type the enquiry as the customer wrote it. The AI interprets it, sets the parameters like a design engineer would, shows the configured result in the viewport and iterates conversationally. Each AI-configured result consumes credits; reviewing and editing it by hand does not.
- Does the AI guess when something is missing?
- No. It answers from the tables and datasheets loaded into the category, cites the row it used and abstains where no loaded source covers the question. A chuck that is not in the compatibility table gets a request to add it, not an invented mounting spec.
- Are the exports really production-ready?
- Graded honestly. The gasket DXF is verified to 0.01mm in two independent CAD parsers. STL and GLB downloads are verified with the configuration recorded in the file. STEP export is generated and structurally valid and stays in verification until it is confirmed dimension-perfect in independent CAD software.
- Can we get a category for our own product line?
- Yes. Any plan can request a custom category. We scope it with you and build it for a one-time setup fee, POA, then it works like any launch category with live 3D, rules, pricing, exports and Design mode.
- Is the pricing in the launch categories real?
- The presets ship with clearly labelled example pricing so you can try them immediately. You load your own rates, formulas and stock before going live, so your customers only ever see your real prices.
