Changing plans

Upgrade or downgrade with confidence, knowing your data is never deleted.

You change plan from the in-app picker on the Billing page. An upgrade is prorated; a downgrade is not, so the two behave differently and it is worth knowing which you are doing.

Upgrades

An upgrade takes effect immediately and is prorated: you pay the difference for the time remaining in the period. The higher seat, catalogue and module limits and the larger credit allowance apply straight away.

Downgrades

A downgrade also takes effect immediately, and there is no credit or refund for the part of the period you have already paid for, so the best time to move down a plan is close to your renewal date. If your catalogue holds more products than the new plan cap allows, nothing is deleted.

When a downgrade would exceed the new catalogue cap, the catalogue becomes read-only above the cap and a banner explains it. Your products stay intact and editing returns when you free up room or move back up a plan.
